In my opinion, I agree with that the high school should teach music and art as other basic science.
First of all, the main responsibility of a high school is to help its students develop academic abilities.
However, music and art are also important, which can help the students appreciate the beauty in our lives.
Furthermore, the research has shown that music and art develop the right part of the brain which often influences one's emotions.
For example, my friend, Tina, when she is in a depressed mood, she always goes to playing the piano, and then can make her recover from a bad mood.
That's why I think the high school should teach music and art as other basic science.
