題目
Some people prefer to learn about current events from watching television news programs.
Others prefer to read about current events in newspapers or on the Internet.
Which do you think is better: watching the news or reading the news? Explain why.

範例一
I prefer to read the news, especially from the Internet.
With the widespread of smart-phones, it's more convenient to  receive the instant news, so that we can read the news at anytime anywhere.
Furthermore, reading the mews would not dusturb others, but wathing the news always makes others fretful.
That's why I think that reading the news is better.

範例二
I prefer watching the news, because it can provide me with more details about what had happened.
Usually in the video, I can see the scene, see the people and even hear their words.
It seems as if I am in the scene. 這讓我仿佛在現場。
Besides, watching the news can get more objective information. 此外,觀看新聞可以獲取更多客觀信息。
Since the news articles in the newspaper should be edited or censored, some important information may be omitted.
However, videos news bring me to the scene and make me one of the witnesses.
Even though, some might say videos can be clipped, I believe at the same censoring level, video is more objective than words.
